DR KHINE IS CURRENTLY ONLY ACCEPTING REFERRALS FOR GERIATRIC PATIENTS WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES AND PATIENTS OVER 65 YEARS OF AGE FOR COGNITIVE/MEMORY ASSESSMENTS.

Dr Thinn Thinn Khine is an Endocrinologist specialising in Geriatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. Thinn Thinn has had extensive experience as a clinician and has been practising medicine since 2006. She has worked and trained in Myanmar, Jamaica, USA and Australia. She completed her specialist clinical training for Endocrinology at Austin Health and Barwon Health.

 

Thinn Thinn received multiple scholarships and travelling fellowships to be trained internationally as a physician-scientist in the field of Endocrinology in Ageing. Through these initiatives, she successfully engaged in a Post-doctoral Research Fellowship, focused on Type II Diabetes research at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. 

 

Thinn Thinn is also a visual artist. She has exhibited her work in multiple solo art exhibitions in Victoria. She has successfully raised funds to support Geriatric Medicine, Aged Care Mental Health and Palliative Care Department in Monash Health and Barwon Health.
