COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS RESTRICTIONS​

We are pleased to accept your new referrals which will be triaged by our physicians to determine whether it is clinically feasible to conduct an initial telehealth appointment with the patient

All telehealth consultations billed under the COVID-19 MBS item numbers will be billed privately as per each specialists' advised fee schedule

We will resume face to face consultations from Wednesday 1 July 2020 but this arrangement will remain subject to Public Health advice.

We are able to facilitate admission for those who are medically unstable
Do we offer Bulk Billing?
As a policy we don't advertise Bulk Billing consultations. We are pleased to advise that there is now a Public Endocrine Outpatient Service at Barwon Health, University Hospital Geelong. Your GP will be able to provide a referral to this service if you prefer. Please let us know if you feel any of your clients are unable to pay and we can discuss alternative billing options with them prior to the appointment.
Direct Private Admissions
In some cases where hospitilisation is required in a clinically stable patient, we can directly admit to the private hospitals. Please call us to discuss individual cases where this may be possible. We offer a 24 hour oncall service for inpatient referrals from specialists at the Epworth and St John of God.

Allied Health Services

Our diabetes educators will be available for new and review patients. They are able to see patients outside of Team Care arrangements.
